Having worked together for almost five years, the Union gave us their trust to once again deliver their World Conference on Lung Health – the biggest scientific conference on lung health. This time the brief was to collate pre-recorded materials from advised sessions, sponsors and preferred host, edit in line with Union brand standards and produce a 4-day virtual conference of both pre-recorded and live sessions.
Everything was online, both pre-recording and broadcast, so we set up a venue in the Midlands to broadcast. We began streaming at 11 CET, ending roughly 18 CET Tuesday to Friday.
We did most of it, from producing pre-records, to pushing it out. A full day was dedicated to supporting youth in lung health research and work, which was a step up from last year. After a positive event, we have already been given the green light to start working on next year’s edition, which will be an in person event.
